• The New School Online Application Center

      Welcome to The New School's Online Application Center!  This portal is utilized by several student populations across the University including undergraduate, masters and doctoral, visiting, exchange, reapplicants and internal transfer students.

      The Online Application Center accepts the following applications:

      • Graduate Applicants (non-Internal Applicants)

      • Bachelors-Masters

      • Bachelors-Masters Graduate Applicants 

      • NSSR Internal Ph.D. Application

      • Portfolio/Audition Submissions for Undergraduate Applicants applying through the Common Application (non-Internal Applicants)*

      • Undergraduate Adult Learners (AAS and Adult Bachelor’s Program)

      • Internal Application

      • Visiting

      • Readmit

      • Exchange

      To access your existing application or start a new application log in and select "Start New Application. Auditions and portfolios are also uploaded in this portal. If you have any questions as you navigate the next steps, please reach out to us at admission@newschool.edu.

      *Portfolio/Audition Submission for Undergraduate Applicants Applying through Common Application (non-Internal Applicants)

      Instructions for submitting your portfolio or audition will vary depending on whether you have already submitted your Common Application or not. Please read the instructions below carefully before moving to the next step. 

      How to log in to the Online Application Center:

      • If you already have a New School Admission Hub/Online Application Center log-in, please select “Returning users” to proceed.

      • If this is the first time you have logged into the New School Admission Hub/Online Application Center, please select “First-time users.”

      How to begin submitting your portfolio/audition:

      • Applicants who have already submitted their Common Application should select  "Common Application (including Portfolio & Audition, where required)" to submit their portfolio or audition after they log in via the links below.

      • Applicants who have not yet submitted their Common Application, but who wish to begin a portfolio or audition, should select Start New Application then "Common Application (including Portfolio & Audition, where required)." Student work will not be reviewed until you have also submitted a Common Application.

      Submit your application

      Undergraduates

      To apply to any of our undergraduate programs (except the Bachelor's Program for Adults and Transfer Students and Parsons Associate of Applied Science programs) complete and submit the Common App online.

      Undergraduate Adult Learners

      To apply to any of our Bachelor's Program for Adults and Transfer Students and Parsons Associate of Applied Science programs, complete and submit the New School Online Application.

      Graduates

      To apply to any of our Master's, Doctoral, Professional Studies Diploma, and Graduate Certificate programs, complete and submit the New School Online Application.
