Schools of Public Engagement Graduate Programs Open House (On Campus)

This special in-person evening event is open to prospective students who are considering graduate study at one of programs at the Schools of Public Engagement (SPE) at The New School.

Meet current graduate students and faculty in small group discussions about our programs, and how they provide meaningful educational experiences connecting theory to real-world practice.

Programs within The Schools of Public Engagement include:

- Creative Writing (MFA)

- Documentary Studies Graduate Certificate

- Environmental Policy & Sustainability Management (MS)

- International Affairs (MA/MS)

- Media Studies (MA)

- Media Management (MS & Graduate Certificate)

- Public and Urban Policy (MS)

- Sustainability Strategies (Graduate Certificate)

Admissions will be on hand to answer any questions about pursuing graduate study at The New School.

Before visiting us in person, please familiarize yourself with the university's health and safety protocols:

• The New School has partnered with CLEAR to use Health Pass, an online tool that safely and simply provides proof of COVID-19 vaccination and testing. For the most efficient entry possible, all guests should download the CLEAR app, create a free CLEAR account, and complete the checklist for entry requirements before coming to campus.
• Guests and visitors must provide one of the following: proof of up-to-date vaccination, including a booster when eligible; a negative result from a PCR test taken within three days before arrival; or a negative result from a rapid test taken the same day.
• Wearing a mask is strongly recommended but not required on campus.
